About me
I'm an artist and aspiring illustrator born and raised in South Wales, and I have recently graduated from Aberystwyth University having studied Fine Art.

I have enjoyed making art as long as I can remember, and I started taking it seriously and teaching myself when I was in secondary school. In particular I remember being inspired by my natural history books as well as animated films and TV shows featuring animal characters.
I noticed how much I enjoyed art lessons compared to other subjects at school and I would always look forward to my lessons, even during exams.

In 2017 I started taking pet portrait commissions and from there I developed an eye for realism and a passion for drawing animals.
I still love drawing animals today, but I want to focus on illustrating stories and have experimented with a range of different mediums, from coloured pencils to digital painting and even printmaking.

More recently I have been inspired by folklore and folk tales and the place and symbolism of animals within them.
